Anime: As you know, Iris is an energetic and a bit childish girl who is currently traveling along with Ash and, like him, is a Pokémon trainer. Her best Pokémon friend is a Kibago, who usually hides inside her hair and shows his head when has something to say. Kibago was given to her by an old woman when it was only a day old. Iris' mission is to make Kibago become stronger and evolve, because learning about Pokémon and linking one's heart with theirs is part of becoming an adult. So, by the time Kibago evolves, Iris will have learnt lots of things about the Pokémon world. [Written on November 2010]
Games: Iris appears in both Pokémon Black and Pokémon White games, but she's the gym leader of Opelucid City only in the White version. She will give the Legend Badge to those Pokémon trainers who manage to defeat her Dragon-type Pokémon:
